In honor of Leather Walker I am wearing this Cal today, but without the collar.

46 degrees is legit Vanson weather. I think what I like most about this jacket is that it has restored my faith in their comp weight cow. Spray bottle and clip treatment yesterday to train that collar. It has potential!

I added the pulls. It is Vansons much maligned new comp weight. I actually love this hide. It’s dull and boring to look at but it’s thick, stiff, and feels like warm leather hug!

Another jacket sprung from the super max in Califa.

GW Hercules Brown Horween Mustang Horsehide.

This one has been hardly worn compared to the black one I recently acquired, which is almost exactly the same size with just a bit more body length.

It is fun comparing the jackets, but I have to say this leather is beautiful, has some incredible grain, and is much softer than I remember it. Must be the humidity.

40’s era Horsehide by Westbury. Temps in the upper 40’s, gray and cloudy. It’s here to stay for awhile.
