I sold most of all my vintage jackets, there's one or two wish that I'd kept... here's a vintage wool coat from Land N Lakes company that I hung on to... don't know if it's worth anything to anyone, but the provenance is something.

Cool look. I've been watching Once Upon A Time in America on Netflix. Very underrated movie with probably the best soundtrack ever. Anyway, usual gangster pic covering from prohibition to the 60s. All the flash back scenes are amazing with the cool clothes. Even the so called "poor" people, dressed to the 9s. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong era.

I agree brother! Everyone dressed nice back then, it was a sense of pride to at least look presentable. Yikes... Anyone who gives a lick about great film making, would consider Once Upon A Time in America one of the last great Epic Classic Films! It's Sergio Leone's last film and a pure masterpiece! Obviously, much thought was put into the costume design. For instance, when DeNiro's character is released from prison, his clothes are a little out of step with the times and his class - as you can see here:

Yep, it is wide for me. I have also lost some weight. The 20 inch shoulders give me some needed length on the sleeves which are only 25 inches. 24 inch p to p in this case is not at all needed, since I don't have as much belly go get around at this point, I could do 23 inches.
It has been raining a lot so I have not made a debut on the beach with the Thedi, but I'm definitely not going body surfing. So many jackets, so little jacket weather.
It's a rough life.

The weather is cooling down here and this week was the first I’ve been able to legit wear a leather jacket outside in the morning.

46 degrees is legit Vanson weather. I think what I like most about this jacket is that it has restored my faith in their comp weight cow. Spray bottle and clip treatment yesterday to train that collar. It has potential!
