This jacket is my favorite on you.
It fits like a glove.
Purely out of curiosity, I always wonder what your combinations would look like if the pants were normal or low waist and slim fit. Anyway, cool outfit.
Thanks! It's already my favorite as well. I used to wear jeans like that. Made my legs look tiny and made me look ridiculously top heavy. Maybe I'll take a picture like that some time just to show how horrific it looks.

lol
In the end, it doesn't matter. The good thing about clothes is that everyone can do what he wants according to his preferences and it will never be wrong... maybe apart from 80s shoulder pads :D

I suppose. I do think slim jeans look objectively terrible on me... not an opinion thing. My body does not work with them at all.

My very strong opinion is that slim and skinny jeans look atrocious on everyone who isn't an extremely skinny and flamboyant rock star, but I have to admit that this is only an opinion.

On me, however, skinny jeans looking bad is a fact. This isn't without experience by the way. I wore them for many years. It's not like I just tried to experiment with them a couple of times. I was committed to them for around a decade.

This jacket fits you insanely well and the pants are very nice too. I guess I just don't like wide jeans both brown ones like that are nice. This whole style really works for you as it looks more casual than the 50's stuff you do - Or maybe it looks more authentic and less cosplay-ish, which isn't a bad thing of course in itself.

if I'd have to choose between atrocious or flamboyant rockstar, I'd take the rockstar title :p

With such a cool jacket, either works! Man, a nice shirt with heavy, crazy-*** print would go so perfectly with that combo.

This is nice!

It is also quite evident that skinny fit pants have gone out of fashion over the last couple of years and wider fits are becoming more and more popular and easily available. As with every trend it takes a bit to peak up amongst the general population.

Now dude I’m not suggesting you are wearing wide cuts because of fashion, but my point is that I’m pretty sure many skinny jeans aficionados will progressively turn to straighter cuts over the next few years and we’ll look back at skinny jeans like we look at 70s bells bottom.

Is this the stf bootlegger? Looks stunning and the fit is spot on!
Is there a post That I missed that gives more detail about the jacket?

if not can you share some basic sizing information? Your height and Chest measurement with the ptp and back length would be great hahaha

Appreciate it as I'm planning to make a purchase myself :)

I’m right there with you. It took me a long time to learn how to dress for my top-heavy body. As much as a like slim-straight jeans on other people, they are not for me. Even moreso, low-rise pants are objectively awful on me.

Here’s a quick progress shot of the natural hh jacket.

It’s turned a really nice shade of golden brown, a bit lighter in reality than it appears here in the photo. Any marks or dirt still show up very noticeably though so I’m gonna keep working on making it even darker.

Thanks! What 50s stuff are you referring to though? I can't think of any 50s stuff that I have now aside from maybe a couple t shirts. Everything else is earlier or later.

Yeah low rise jeans do not work on me at all. If I actually wore low rise I'd probably need size 36 even though I wear size 30-31 normally.

I'm 6'0, chest 38" and waist 32" ... but with a 30" inseam. If I am wearing an untucked shirt, obviously waist doesn't matter and that is my excuse for so many awfully fitting jeans over the past decade.

I used to buy 38L sports coats in order to get the button stance right on the ubiquitous mid to low rise pants. That just accentuated my top heaviness. It's only in the last year that I've learned to bite the ****** and go with short jackets and high-rise pants.

The next two pairs of jeans I have in the Ciano Farmer queue will be a new experiment for me: high waist, but relatively slim in the top block and medium straight in the thighs, then falling straight from the know to a 9.5" opening. I'm hoping they will hit the sweet spot of something that works for me and not look like groovy 70s flairs!
