I have the exact same Schott leather peacoat here in Australia ! "Winter" wear only of course but I do like it ! You will be wearing it's **** off in Scotland right now !

This is the first time I wore my FL out into the rain. Not because I baby my jackets but because I generally don't like walking in the rain.

Instantly the sleeves developed some nice creases and some grain started to pop. View attachment 294081

Hahaha, I gotta admit, you inspired me. But really though, I never found a 501 pair that I liked until these.

Vintage Schott Police jacket with my DIY slip on fur collar. Raw unfinished fur edge on the inside neck so it’s not super pretty but very functional and warm. Plus these cop coats had wool insulated quilted linings throughout and storm cuffs. Very cozy!

Tried Anj4 this morning,-10 ,nope wasn’t doing the business,neither could the B2 ,
Aviation leathercraft to the rescue,,the pockets and inch deep fleece-are a godsend.

Aero Type III in Rust Goat Suede....the rust goat suede is the nicest leather I've handled from Aero so far...I've handled pretty much all of their leathers and trusted Ken from Aero in this case. He said that he made the first jacket out of rust goat for himself since about 20 years (if I remember correctly) as this is his favorite leather in his portfolio. I'm just not yet sure if I'm a trucker jacket kind of person and if I should let it go and order another jacket of their wonderful rust goat!
