I love your photos (and outfits). Can't top those. My elevator-selfies certainly can't.
Thank you :) Elevator, stairs... that’s pretty much the same. The lens im using is so cheap, $50 for an f1.8 copy of the canon 50mm, anyone can take this kind of picture without spending thousands. One light source bumping against a white wall or standing in front of the window during the day.

nifty fifty. It's a must if you have a canon SLR. I need to dust off my 5d mk3 and start taking some proper photos too.

Really, I just pulled this out to get some measurements and photos to help me size my next jacket. Decided to share it here, anyway. CXL8 Gustin L1:

Finally a decent representation of the color. Hoping my third Halfbelt will be finished and shipped on Saturday. If these jackets have taught me nothing else...it’s that goat hide is just sublime to wear.

I agree about goatskin - when I first found it (it is rare in Australia) I thought why the hell aren't all jackets made of this? Tough, light, abrasion resistant and I have found it full of character, despite some people's view of it being like pebbly plastic.

This looks like a pretty good fit so I think this would make a great starting point. Are you planning on wearing your FL jacket with just a tshirt. Or would you like to leave some room for layering? My FL jacket is a skin tight fit which is perfectly fine for a summer jacket but it's impossible to wear it with a wool sweater. That's something to consider.

Thanks. It's not perfect, but it's a good starting point. The sleeve and body length is pretty good. I definitely want the chest and waist of the new jacket slimmer than this one. I'm aiming for a pretty slim fit like yours - Texas winters are fairly mild and it's rare that I zip up a jacket over my t-shirt.

This is the cordovan jacket I really liked now I can't wait to get my tumbled cordovan premier hwm. Great to see this again.

The Horween CXL8 is a beautiful leather. I fell in love with it when I bought a pair of Redwing Gentleman Traveller boots 12 years ago. I have had belts and wallets and bags in it. And this jacket. You are going to love it! Can’t wait to see your Highwayman.

I should have it by February, it will be pretty classic HWM order just a single point yoke and zippered sleeves.

What sleeves will you get w/ your FL cross zip?
Is the cxl8 different from cordovan?

Great fit on that jacket @ton312 . I like the color a lot as well.

I don't think I've shown pics of how my new size 40 Mulholland fits yet. I was able to trade my 42 with a friend on another forum for his size 40 version. It worked out brilliantly IMO.
The jacket is significantly shorter than the size 42 and it looks much better as a result IMO. It doesn't look that short given how ridiculously high the rise on these jeans is (13.5" front rise on size 31 jeans), but the back is actually 23.75". I think Ideally, I'd have a 23" or 22.5" back on my jackets, but I'd have to go bespoke for that...

@JustinW The zippers on the outer sleeve? That look is steadily growing on me, I always felt it's a little bit out there. I requested the zippers on my cafe racer on the inner sleeves to be subtle but FL recent jackets is changing my mind on that.

Thanks for clarifying the cxl8 term, now I know what to look out for.

@dudewuttheheck the 42 looked great on you when you had it but that smaller size mulholland is fit goals right there
