Green! You want green? Do I have green for you! Picked this up for 50 quid off the bay - another impulse buy. Seller said length is 24" - no way. Still fun little jacket for St. Patrick's Day or something. Brand is Chevignon, looks to be from the early 80's, very heavy aniline dyed leather.

Looks perfect. If it had back closer to the Commando, it would be unbeatable. I like the back though.

Brown corduroy Surgeon jacket today. Back from a superb traditional tailor in Bristol. Sleeves fit perfectly after reduction at crown.
The corresponding tweed has now been dropped off for the same work.
