Loool, I love it when things turn politics. Haven't got the slightest clue what you guys are talking about but the frustration is so familiar. And I just learned of Colonel Blimp cartoon, which is quite brilliant.

It's a brilliant Powell and Pressburger movie from 1943 with Roger Livesey. Very prescient and nice jackets too.
Leather jackets are intrinsically political of course. Even the Draft Dodger in Chief wears a military jacket with no trace of irony when it suits. But then I'm a snowflake.

I'd heard horse urine was used to wash theatre curtains. That must need a lot of horse urine now that I think about it (which I don't too often).

I think it was all earlier the talk of horse urine that took me on this tangent. Yhen I remembered hearing that the president likes to use plenty of Russian horse urine on his textiles. Or did I mishear that?

David Low was a great political cartoonist. Goebbles hate him so you you can imagine the Twitter whining he'd have got from Sgt Heel Spurs....
