I'm not gonna lie, I was fairly annoyed when you "snatched" this away from me right in front of my eyes.. but let me tell you, now that I see it on you, the jacket went to the right place! It looks better on you than it ever would have on me! Awesome piece and great outfit all together!

I appreciate and respect your honesty and thank you for the kind compliment.
I will be honest as well. I had no idea this jacket had a history, much less one where people were waiting in line for 12 years. Had i known that i would have stepped aside out of respect. That is why i have not posted it much. It does deserve to be seen!
This jacket is my pinnacle jacket and always will be. It will outlive me by decades and when it does it will go to my Son with a note in the pocket telling him who were in the wings waiting, should he decide to sell it.

Wildly unimpressive by TFL standards in terms of fit and construction. Nevertheless, this 70's era penny's Sherpa/Suede trucker will do today. I couldn't love this jacket anymore, despite its shortcomings!

Eyeing that exact jacket in my size. Glad to hear you like it. Seller says it’s a pretty thick leather—I assume it’s steerhide.

Hey Mike. The leather is suprisingly robust, pliable and has some very nice grain. I do not know the thickness and it probably is steer, but for comparisons:
Vanson CR weighs 4lbs +/- without the zip in lining.
Aero CR steer alittle over 4lbs.
Fidelity CR 4lbs
Brooks CR 3.5 lbs.
I don’t think these are all that common. If your’s is in good condition and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg i think you might like it. Hope that helps.
