1960's Seer Sucker Jacket. $5 Thrift score.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I'm with A-1 on this. Once you start wearing the roomier, higher-waisted pants your old tighter pants seem completely ridiculous. I have a couple of pairs of 'straight' jeans that I still wear, but mostly it's the baggies. I didn't even notice he was wearing them.
I think though you have to be careful with the leg length in the sense that is better to have them on the short side and allow no break at all. Otherwise I find they ruin the look of every shoe/boot you wear. Baggy and slightly too long and you definitely risk to look like a grandpa in my opinion.
To each his own but I think that a mid rise with a moderately tapered leg is the way to go for most people.
