Vanson Dakota. This is one of the few I own that I think looks good on me unzipped. Jeans are a brand-new pair of oni ishikawadai which are stretchy and perfect

I had to look it up, but my dad had a Sheridan Blue Streak when he was a kid and that I shot when I was a kid. I wonder if that would be low powered enough to shoot safely at home with my kids, if I only gave it one or two pumps?
My '79 blue streak is a tack driver with it's williams 5dsh peep sight, and I rarely pump it past 4 out to 25yds.
1 pump isn't enough to reliably fire .
I'm mostly used to 14.3gr pellets and with those 2 is okay out to 10yds, but 3 is a much better minimum.
Those 14.3's I was buying are discontinued now though, and with the H&N pellets in 11.42 and 13.5gr 2 pumps might work out a little better.
3 pumps is still quiet and safe.

The weight is quite manageable at 5lb, the LOP isn't excessively long for a kid, great crisp 3lb trigger, and while they're quite stiff to pump from 5-8 I never had a problem putting 3 pumps in it when I was 10.
Prices are going crazy on eBay and you'll need to have it resealed if you can't do it yourself ( easy from my perspective, but I've been repairing my own for 15+ years ).

I think they're an excellent choice, but I'm definitely biased.
