What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Not something I normally post here, but given the discussion- it was $30 second hand on eBay, it’s warm, functional, and I can just throw it in the washing machine if need be. Wore it to drop off the kid at school, no big deal.

I picked up an old issue field jacket in camo wear it all the time. Had them put army and last name tape on just like my old issued jacket. It is my go to jacket letting out the dogs with the liner in winter. Wore to work yesterday. So much more comfortable wearing that vs heavy leather all the time. Looks great on ya

Re: patches I’ll probably end up putting some fun and/or nerdy ones on it, haven’t really decided 100% but it’s calling out for more.

Textile-wise denim jackets and chore coats do seem to get more love on this thread than field jackets, you should share one of yours now and then!

@Marc mndt Thanks very much! It’s a perfect Autumn jacket and quality is quite nice. Sleeves needed to be altered but this was no issue at all. I‘m glad to choose the heavy cotton instead of wool!

I'll see another one from the World of Scotland in ~ Janurary timeframe.

Trouble is, I really like the Eastman Ostmann Luftwaffe Flying Jacket - and wish I saw more photos of it out in the wild.

Does Eastman also take modified orders, the Luftwaffes shoulders seems to be longer than most jackets
