I like the CR and the idea of catching and frying fish! I caught a mess of sea bass the other day and it has been ceviche ever since. Sadly, no jacket involved as it has been 90F all the time.

“Hurricane” (Tropical Storm ?) Isaias hit us with torrential rain and strong gusty winds. The LW Rigger was up to the task, the Horsehide repels rain almost like Gore-Tex! Lots of graining popping up and she’s breaking in nicely.

@thor Great jacket. Nothing like rain to bring out horsehide grain. Makes me wish it rained more here. Stay safe out there!

I am unfortunately probably still 2 months away from leather jacket weather at least, so it's my LVC triple pleat again. At 9oz and with the sleeves rolled, it's basically like wearing an unbuttoned shirt which makes it perfect for summer.

There haven't been too many opportunities to wear leather this summer, been feeling almost naked without a jacket. This Lee Japan 101J 1946 Rider should fit the bill for the warmer temps.

Tropical Storm Isaias assisted me in adding some character to my LW Rigger (dumping a ton of rain on NYC and softening up the 4oz HH).
This jacket deserved some clear, focused pics instead of my usual blurred “action” photos
