Simmons Bilt J100 in black goat for today's rather cool and blustery Saturday Harley ride.
Two way RIRI zipper on this. "Fully clothed" and ready for the off after our compulsory "Guinness" stop.
Now poses the question , which is the "better" shot , the beach shot or the hanger shot out in the GARAGE ?

Well my "discerning public" haha...today's jacket is my Aero Highwayman blue label steerhide.

Apologies for having posted this jacket several times before , but I don't have 365 jackets !

Now no "ants in the pants" please , this is a DIFFERENT photo to the "Over 50's" thread.

Taken with an interesting backdrop ( unlike some on here but I don't comment on that , that's their thing !)

Calm Indian Ocean , the calm before the storm which is our winter way.

Is that the same ocean too?

I only have one thing to say: Wrangler original cowboy fit jeans.
I just got a pair of these yesterday and really like them. Lower legs are a little baggy on my skinny legs so i took them to the local alteration shop. Having them do a gradual taper from knee down to 7 inch across opening. They have done this to numerous 501s for me. Will post a pic next week or two

Not wearing but continuing the rejuvenation process on my Herc. I’m not sure if it’s been discussed here but heavily tarnished brass shines like gold after a bit of lemon juice. Freshly squeezed onto a paper towel and they shine like gold. I should’ve taken shots of the pocket flaps before. They were solid black with tarnish.

I'm strangely attracted to those perforated jackets, and I don't even ride. Seems like a breezy and fun choice for a Sunday drive!

Not all perforated jackets are created equal, Vanson’s version is great. It retains the Comp. weight heft & feel, but the perforations are large and really do work. Awesome jacket for when you go out in your convertible. I recall your car can roll with the top down, though I may be mistaken.

When moving it works, when stopped, well, it’s just like any leather jacket. I bake.

2-oz roo hide is indestructible. They make motorcycle racing suits out of it for protection in case of a slide on pavement. More dense than any other mammal hide. I love roo hide, have one jacket in it and wish more makers used it. Aero used to have some but no more. Hides are small and that's what I am told is the problem.

I had a roo jacket made by Mars out of Australia. Awesome jacket. Light weight but solid. Out of all the jackets I have sold, I really wish I still had that one. The Brando jacket, interesting design and was great for hotter days.
