Getes, Georg Teufel & Sohn, Tuttlingen "Meisterklasse" "Soleil", possibly late 1950s early 1960s and originally NOS. Getes was located in the South Baden-Württemberg but I don't have any production information. They went back to 1851 and lasted into at least the later 1960s. This hat is machine formed but has nice dimensions + form and light Grey Felt + Soleil finish. I found this Soft Felt back in 2020.

A Stetson Sovereign of the stingy variety today. This one has several unusual characteristics including the wind cord and the red $20 tag inside. I'm guessing late 50's early 60's on this one.

Good morning. My dog soirée was enjoyed under the brim of a PHD hat. This 3" brim with "vents" was ordered with a higher crown. Love the higher crown.

Alert-Non-Hat Content: I enjoyed my morning coffee under the peak of a linen cap.

Today: an unlined "LL Bean" Labeled on tip logo and sweat.

Felt is really nice on this , has a suede finish and super soft (the whole hat) fur felt. Rich chocolate brown with a nice contrast to the ribbon. It arrived open crown , but is fairly short at 5 3/8". Still, creases as I like and has a great hand. Brim is 2 3/8 so not too bad. Being unlined it is better to wear in this warmer weather. Not sure when this one was made or who made it......but it is very well made. Not as intimidating a hat as I usually wear , but still a nice thin ribbon.........
