Good lookin', fer sure!My first Indy copy. Distressed a bit.
I made it from an early 60s Resistol fedora.
The original sweatband was toast so I installed a new one.

Best of luck! A hat that sharp must be found.WISH ME LUCK.
Woot!!!! Very nice, HJ!
VERY nice hat and tie! As for the incoming, good luck, and don't give up hope. My record for that kind of USPS f***ery is nineteen days lost in transit, before the hat finally arrived.Hat - Mallory
Tie - Jerry Garcia.
I have a small collection of vintage hand-painted ties, and I'm always looking to add to it. When searching for them over the years, I've encountered ties from the Jerry Garcia collection. They're printed, not hand-painted, but they are based on his paintings, and they certainly have the same feel as the vintage ties I love. I finally bought a couple of them and I'm glad I did! VERY high quality! I'll post pics of the other one soon. It has a little pouch sewn in the back - presumably for concealing something... Hmmm... Not sure what???
Anyway, I'm off to the post office, for what may be a bit of an adventure. A few weeks ago I bought a stunning Wegener - I've included pics. It's been a while since I've been this excited about a hat. Long story short... It was lost by the USPS between it's final distribution center and my post office. The tracking says it's been "in transit" for a week now, and the two points are only a half an hour from each other. I filed a search request, and according to their response, their investigation found that it is "In transit". Essentially, they just read the tracking info and repeated it back to me. Wow... Anyway - I'm off to the local post office to try to speak to someone in person about it.
WISH ME LUCK.

Unfortunately we can't like and laugh at the same time, so this will have to do.Stetson OR 25. With a 3 1/4" brim, it's pert near a beanie. Happy Stingymas.
