After this mornings " rose colored ribbon " post I grabbed one of my favorite Open Roads for the days second errand run. One of my few Open Roads that I wear Brim Up. Think its because of the modest 2-1/2" brim.... 3" brim snapped up makes my ears stick out lol

Thanks Steve! I was happy when I got it. The only Arminto I have & I like the embroidery in the liner. I contacted Saddle & Sirloin looking for history but didn’t learn anything. A private club that has been around here since the end of WWII.

I hope you get to see a good concert in Copenhagen. Look forward to your review.
Thanks Jack.

It's not often you get good info from companies. They don't seem to keep records, or they just get lost. A wake-up call to us all I suppose: write it down and file it :)

I'll definitely post a review of Bob's "Rough and Rowdy Ways" concert. I'm taking my youngest daughter along. Looking forward to hearing her thoughts.

Love the rose coloured ribbon and brim binding, Rick.

What colour is the felt? It has a light greenish tint to it on my phone.

I was working on a big old Resistol with too tall a crown and a too big brim curl yesterday. I realized I already had three other old big tall, black westerns with brim curls, so I made a command decision and went a different direction. Flattened the curl out and trimmed the brim to 3" and reshaped the crown into a sort of Gambler configuration. Now the crown is under 5" tall. I like it better than a half acre of hat with a 6-3/4" crown.... much more wearable for daily running around.
