Woo Hoo and hooray! my new blue braided hemp Borsalino came in today! Its definitely a LOT lighter hemp material than the Stetson Hemps. Reminds me of the feel one of my extra fine Montechristi Toquilla hats are... not exactly floppy but really lightweight and flexible . Super comfy! Should be a great summer hat. Whipped up a quick little ribbon but couldnt find any blue grosgrain so temporarily used black ( I KNOW Ive got some navy blue grosgrain in 3/8" , 5/8" and 1" SOMEWHERE... just need to find it so I can experiment with a couple sizes before I sew it down). This ones a 3/8"... thinking a 1/2 or 5/8 would look pretty good as well. Im thrilled with this hat and I FINALLY have a Borsalino in the house!!

My grey Milan Stratoliner came in today. Sending it back , has defects in weave on back and poor stitching on binding. Stetson charging $129 and up for this , idk.
The brim did stay down without the wonky ness though.
