Sweet !! Don't hear a bunch about Hardeman but everything I ever read pointed to a very well made hat !
I've been envious of Hurricane Jack's (@Hurricane Jack) The Brigadier, ever since the first time I saw a photo of it. So, naturally, I felt compelled to at least make a stab at having a version of my own. Mine started as a 90s 3X beaver Worth-Walden. The brim got trimmed to 3”, then lowered greatly and given just the gentlest of kettle curls. Its crown was reshaped into the center-dent, and it was fitted with a new ribbon with a campaign bow. Definitely NOT as stunning as HJ's, but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Good job Mark! Side view is right on what I like. I bought a black Nutria once for one but the crease point was so spiderwebbed it was almost all the way thru the felt, so I returned it to seller.

Definitely a hat to be proud of !! The campaign bow really sets it off in my opinion.
