Good morning folks.

Last night I was enjoying the evenings illumination from the "Blue Moon." I was under the brim of a Stetson 3X OR . Big, bright!

A walkabout this morning in the cooler morning temps in a Dobbs homburg.

Arriving home I enjoyed a cup of coffee under the brim of a Stetson. It is a glorious fawn hued felt with green trimmings. The edge treatment is a "treat."

Some errands were taken in a Stetson gilled fedora.

I cut the yard, trimmed hedges and use a blower on all walkways under the brim of a Stetson Stratoliner (milan).

Same reason as a Marine - unless we’re standing watch, the Navy doesn’t wear covers indoors.

Once a squid, always a squid, though I haven’t worn a cover in 25 years.

How was the festival? From the website, it looks like a really fun and unique event!

Outdoor events are always subject to the vagaries of the weather. Mercifully we only had about 20% rain and that was just showers, not enough to put festival revellers off partying:

None of those people are in vintage - do they count?

I had the impression from the website gallery that it was a venue for folks to come and really show off their vintage lifestyle. So I expected more RVs and less tent campers. But these folks look like they just came for a few hours?

The concept of fatherhood seems to change every generation or two while you were away making your own money & taking care of your family. Your own kids will constantly remind you that you were
never home. Grandchildren are a chance to make up for that. Be there for them. Congratulations Bob!
