Very nice 101. It is a higher end Derby of the era. Love that liner. Pity about the sweat, cool color.


Love the colors on this Dobbs. Quite an interesting liner logo, a period replacement perhaps?


Always dig a back bow. This one is a sweetie Jim. The center dent works on this one nicely.

It is an interesting liner -sweat combo. The sweat has a Roos Bros California logo along with the Dobbs and Forty. The liner looks to be 50s or 60as but from Fink in Rochester. So probably a little rework at some time

Really a nice modern Whippet. They did keep the signature brim binding which is nice. Nice snap you goth there Richard.

Since the theme is Whippet today, I will play. My modern Japanese market Stetson Whippet in phantom gray (which has some taupe tones to it, weird). Designed and promoted by former Lounge member, Matt Deckard. Replaced the funky Stetson pin with a vintage Mercedes emblem.

Many of the vibrantly colored Stetsons from this period (late 1930s-early 1940s) that I have found were sold in Los Angeles.
