What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

It's been hotter than a fresh out of the oven cornbread skillet down here at Rock Bottom so I've been wearing my straw hats here lately. Para Panama by American Hat Company in Houston, Texas is my choice for this morning.

This is a brooks brothers fedora, rabbit, "made in italy" seller said it was a Borsalino for Brooks Bros, I have no idea and there is no objective sign that it was, but it was $100 or less and in my size (62) so I don't mind. I like it...and that fabric sweatband gives you anothor Summer hat.

Im on the Greek Island Meis for a couple days. This is my "de punto en blanco" croched Panama, a made in Equador from Toquilla straw. A friend told me when I go shopping in seaside toens in Turkey this hat gets me over charged everywhere. Maybe hes right. It looks so Cruise Ship Tourist. But Ive never seen any anybody around here whereing one of these. A few cuenca or monticristi but not these.

I like it. Its so iıght, cool, and breaths well. But if I wear a linen flatcap, Im charged more like a local, lol...Maybe if Im shopping Ill leave it in the car, lol

What do you guys think???
Does this hat Scream....Foreign Tourist....over charge Me PLEASE!!
