Good morning hat folks.

I would like to share a couple hats from yesterday. Home from some travels I strolled about in a Newt panama. Gorgeous panama.

The ribbon treatment is excellent. Neat, quality and tidy.

I started carrying fallen branches to the brush pile and changed to a Stetson "Genuine Panama."

A warm and humid Thursday found a Stetson ******* Airlite with a snowflake vent to be the perfect hat for a dog soirée.

Home and enjoying some cold brew coffee under the brim of a PHD fedora. Gorgeous woven straw. While the ribbon is not a fav, I am giving this hat plenty of head time.

Bird feeders and a couple of nags of mulch later I really appreciated my other PHD straw fedora. Airy enough, light and easy to wear. I am not a fan of the glued ribbon, but my wife likes both of the PHD straw fedoras. I am good to go.

WOO HOO! New hat day....

I always get a nervous sensation and a lump in my throat when the mailman hands me an 8"x10" box with a hat in it . At least they fabricated a crown ring inside and had it sealed in plastic. I guess considering what I got this one for, I should'nt have actually expected the seller to spring for the cost of a proper sized box.

This ones a nice little 2-1/4" brim Royal Deluxe Open Road. Felt is really clean and hat in nice shape. Beautiful thin soft felt. Only real issues are no liner ( no prob as I have a box of satin replacement liners on the way as we speak), and a dried out leather sweat. Leather appearance looks ok but it sure feels fragile and has a few cracks.... time to be careful till I get some moisture back into the leather. Ill get some leather conditioner on it asap. Haven't even brushed felt yet since it was really clean. All ive done was hit it with a bit of steam so I could uncurl the brim and do some crease refreshing. Loving this new-to-me lid
