WOW!!!!!! I was expecting another hard-to-choose-the-best Sunday morning, until I got to the Brummel's Frivol! THAT blew everything else completely out of the water!!!! When my heartrate returned to (mostly) normal, I selected the Ursus as #2, and the Sools as #3. Thanks for another stunning display, Stefan!

Today I'm wearing one of my personal favorites...this Moss Green Stetson Bantam originally sold by M. Schwartz Company, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Very similar to a ******* but with slightly smaller dimensions. I worked my tail off yesterday so today I'm gonna be lazy and do absolutely nothing. Lol.

Tirard Mercure. It's the colour Stefan, so striking, I love it.

Striped shirt 003.JPG

At the recent festival Tina & I were at, this hat, made for me by Gamble & ***n, had quite a few compliments. Today, for church, I had planned to wear the light blue hat, based on Stetson's Stratoliner, made for me by former Lounger, Esther Weis.
But the vanity in me is dreadful, yesterday's hat choice got a second outing, and was complimented again. What am I like?

Thank you, Robert. I did not expect that Tirard to be such a nice hat, but it won me over right away. Wearing the hats that please us is what it's all about I'd say. If we manage to please the crowd as well, so much the better. So what are you like: you're a crowd pleaser! Give the public what they want ;)

Stefan, you're incorrigible, it's probably why we have such an empathy. The bow tie drew a few favourable remarks, at least I think that they were favourable. Perhaps they were one for the: "You know that you are getting old," thread.

That hat, along with most of what Tina made, and Fox Tailoring's blazer, had The Vintage Nostalgia Show officials trying to coax me into the best dressed competition. Not a chance!

They have a good eye, Robert. Even if you did say no, it feels nice to be wanted though, doesn't it?

If that's the most dreadful your vanity gets, I'd say you're still in the league with the angels, Robert! Lookin' goooooooooo, sir!
