Good morning. I headed out for a walkabout before the sun rose in a Royal Deluxe Stetson OR in tan.

Arriving home I went outside to enjoy a cup of coffee in a n Australian Stetson Whippet.

I cut the lawn and picked trimmed the hedge in a Sunbody.

Errands found me switching a Gannon Wanderer (silvermist beaver felt with charcoal trimmings).

Some cold brew coffee and a trip to my neighbors to deliver their share of the side of beef. I changed to a Stetson *******.

I am starting the grill whilst sport'n a Gannon ******* (silverbelly beaver felt).

This morning started at 60'f or 15'c. Our high is 72'f or 21'c. This past week we just short of 99'f. This is a welcome respite.

Got it. You’re just a day ahead and slightly cooler than we are. We are meant to be in the low 80s tomorrow - but it’s 95 right now.

Sorry, wasn’t referring to your facial expression, but what I said is a borrowed expression meaning; dang, such nice hats this week (as if you’re tryin to get some get back on somebody) But we know you’re not.
It’s just humor; like after a musician finishes an extra-ordinary guitar break someone might say, “****, that was incredible! Who you mad at?!”

Bill I do not have a special retailer. I do purchase beat straw hats at the local thrift shops just for their pugs. I have found some real treasures this way.

Yesterday afternoon I was out and about in a Stetson Mode Edge. This new to me hat is not a Mode Edge anymore. Sometime in it's life the "Mode Edge" was removed and a binding edge applied. Glorious felt and ribbon work regardless of the edge alteration.

Sunday morning I went on a walkabout in the 54'f (12'c) temps. Glorious temps after the recent heat. I wore the Saturday evening Stetson Mode Edge fedora. I cleaned the hat (white gas, hard brushing and lots of steam to bring it to an open crown) last night. This morning the hat just seemed to want to take a "tugboat" crown crease. I like the rake and dimensions it gives the hat. I think that it brings the eye to the hat crown sides and lessons the eye attraction to the edge change, IMO.

Home, after sunrise, I enjoyed coffee on the deck in a Gannon Wanderer (silverbelly beaver felt and charcoal trimmings).

I drove my wife over to a gathering and I changed to a Stetson Whippet. Excellent felt on this 50's version.
