Crazy weather around here, yesterday was chilly and rainy, today warm and sunny... cap day again

Another stingy today - one that I like a lot but don’t wear as often because the multicolored ribbon often clashes with one thing or another. It’s a Salmagundi Boston made in Canada. The quality is dang impressive for a recently made hat. It’s perfect for my morning visit to the local coffee shop.

On the Eighth Day of StingyMas….

Two very close in shape and styling…. But made worlds apart. A Resistol and G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro and C. Both sporting a felted edge. Borsalino a tad bit lighter in color… it’s felt a bit softer and less dense… also featured a wind trolley. The Resistol a bit darker brown with a more dense, firmer felt with a velvety smooth finish.

On the seventh day of StingMas, I went back in black with this Caxton, and it's small, 2 5/8" brim.

On the eighth day of StingyMas, a Stetson ******* with a very modest 2 1/2" brim went to my company's Christmas lunch.
