Not as classy or elegant as most of the hats seen here, but as long as it gets the job done I don't mind:

I've had hats similar to this in the past, and find them to be far more comfortable than fur felt hats (i.e. not as hot) when I'm doing yardwork on hot summer days, and even more comfortable when I'm out and about at whatever summer event pops up on the radar. Waxed cotton that comes in Olive (my choice), Black, Brown, and Tan (too orange for my tastes), sizes from 57 cm to 63 cm, and it won't mind getting wet on occasion. And it being cotton, the crown flattens nicely so the hat can be packed in a suitcase while traveling if it's not needed. £24.99 before taxes and whatever other charges the various Governments around the world steal, free delivery in the UK (total cost £48.60 GBP / $64.17 USD after shipping to the U.S. was added).

Well, I wasn’t gonna post anything about this hat until it got here, but I am so pleased with how this turned out I just can’t hardly contain myself.

Here’s a little sneak preview of a hat that is coming to me from @belfastboy.

Ladies and gentlemen, now is the winter of my discontent. I am so excited to get this hat, and the shipping and customs, etc., coming from BC Canada is an epic nightmare lol. I’ll see you all in a couple weeks.

Nothing to do with Robert of course, working with him has been an absolute pleasure, and he handled all the charges so there’s no surprises on that score, I’m just very very one more very impatient. Particularly when waiting on a hat this cool. Thank you Robert.
