Nice choice! That shade of gray should go well with any number of colors, and that brim will give you more than just a little protection from sun, rain, snow, birds, kids with water balloons...

The lady I bought the Bowler from had some Top Hats. They just weren't striking nor interesting enough compared to the ones I have.

One day, though, as you know, a special one will turn up

Santa Claus showed up early today on eBay! A rarely ever seen Stetson Sixteen Fifty from the late 1940's. This one is 3X Beaver longhair with 2 3/4 inch Mode Edge brim. The Mode Edge stamp is in rear and sideways, which I've never seen before. Only a couple of other Sixteen Fiftys are on FL, one or more being Imperial Stetson models. This hat is from the same store in Buffalo, NY as hatophile's Sixteen Fifty.
