It's sunny and 65 today. We're slow at work so I've gone home and opened up a bottle of cherry wine from Cooper's Hawk and lit a cigar. I'm enjoying both on the back porch this afternoon.

Last night I had variations on a French 75, substituting St Germain (the Elderflower liqueur) for the sugar/syrup...it was delicious. Four drinks later, and things were going just fine!! Whee!

Anyone in NYC should definitely visit The Raines Law Room...amazing drinks!

I've been hitting the Gin pretty steadily recently, but it's been a loooong day, I may have to forgo the Tanqueray......I'm going straight for the Tequila!

I do like some gin ( big fan of the gimlet ) and I have to say, honestly, I haven't yet found a reason to spend more than the $15 or so that it costs for a 750ml Gordons'. That is some good stuff for the price.

I'm with you on that one. Maybe I've just fried the tastebuds with Scotch but when they are mixed with tonic and lime, I can't tell either.

Hibiscus is the name for said drink. Like a Mimosa, only with cranberry juice.
