I've drank quite a bit of light beer only because it was available and free. The only light beer I've ever bought for myself is Miller Lite.
Sort of thought it might be slowing down. When an established brand w/o wide appeal starts introducing new products, it's not always a good sign.

Reminds me a bit of when the grocery stores had the "generic aisle" and you could buy a six pack in white cans just labeled BEER.

Benedictine and Brandy, but proving that you can take the boy out of New Jersey, but not New Jersey out of the boy, I had it as a pre-diner drink with several fistfuls of Planters Peanuts.
As I was really enjoying the B&B last night, I tried to identify why and I think it's the sweet-but-not-cloying flavor with the slight-but-not-overwhelming burn that makes it work for me. Plus, heck, it's simple: pour into glass and sip.

I'd say you'll have more to be humbled by when your sparring partner is twice your age, half your size and still getting the better of you. Until then, drink up and a Hendrick's martini is a nice choice.
