Am in a hotel in Tokyo and had a VERY dry Yuzu Martini--bought a Yuzu at Tsukiji Market and had it squeezed into a glass of Smirnoff, all icey cold in a glass--Delicious! Just went to a ryokan where they have Yuzu floating in the bathing tubs so am a big fan on many levels!

Note to self...never send my wife to the store and ask her to pick up a dark beer.
The bottle is dark...but the beer is amber, and not that good.
Guess I'll go to the store myself tomorrow and pick up a 6pk of Killians or Guinness.

Lastnight was a half and half cocktail of rye and blackberry brandy. Both bottles were right out of the freezer. Poured over ice and gently stirred. I was surprised that it was good with something that simple.

Nice and ICE cold. The spicy rye makes it taste like eating cherries.
