Most certainly a kick. We are not huge drinkers but last weekend we somehow managed to drink almost a 5th of Kraken rum. We were totally trashed. lol It was our "date night" and we drank and listened to 1920s and 30s Jazz (among other things.

I kept saying release the Kraken. lol
"Irish Car Bomb". Guiness, Baileys, Jameson.
Over the weekend I had my first tast of...
Knappogue Castle, 10yr single malt...
Clontarf, blended...
Red ******, 12 yr pure pot stilled and...
Connemara, 12 yr peated single malt.
All four were very good but the Red ****** and the Connemara were top notch. I loved the smokey taste of the Connemara.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Someone has been taking my advice I see.The Clontarf single malt is a better rendition so don't let the blend sour you on the brand. Castle brands is a decent distiller for the price.

Indeed it was your advice that directed me to the Red ******, thank you. I was wondering about the single malt Clontarf.
Maybe I should add that I got to enjoy these at a local Irish Pub (Five Irish Brothers). The four I tried came as a "flight" on a sample board. Boy do they know how to serve a guyThe next time I'm there I hope to try their Top Shelf flight, Bushmills 21, Jameson's Single, Jameson's Reserve, and I forget the fourth one.
