I was at the club until quite late, celebrating the safe passage of a certain unicorn. He wanted to go to the club with me, however, I dissuaded him by saying he could play with a dragon if he stayed home! G'n'T's? Not OHDHs?

Ta, I do need my coat and earring. I look a bit lop-sided with just the one!

Of course, now you come to mention it, I remember you had guests arrive for the weekend. They were welcome to drop by the Club, as I could've arranged temporary membership for them. I trust they are enjoying their stay, are they stopping around for long?

G'n'T's, aka "OHDH's"!

Funny that, as the barman mentioned that your "lop-sidedness" was due to the Daiquiri's! Rest assured, he was duly disciplined!

This will get a rise out of Mr. Rumblefish....Old Crow Reserve with just a bit of ice. 86 octane. This is about the best stuff going in North Carolina for $10 bucks. No other bourbon on my shelves costs less than twice the price of this OC Reserve. Buy some while it's going for a $ sawbuck.

I did not. I had it after a meal. Though now I know it's perfectly acceptable to drink Calvados between courses I may try that.

Believe it or not, I have a bottle of Old Crow from the 1970s on my bar back. It makes a nice decoration but I doubt I would ever open it.

I agree with you about most bourbons, except that IMO they smell and taste like phenolic plastic. Blanton's is different. Try it if you get the chance.
