I'm a good tipper...seriously. Young, old; male or female. They work hard; they need to make a decent living. Nothing tugs at my conscience more than going into a small cafe & seeing an older female waitress who should have retired 10 yrs ago & be enjoying life, but she can't financially.

The cat is down t to 8 lives, but I think she's gonna survive. I guess I will too. I drank plenty of Keystone (and worse) back when I was in school and it didn't kill me then.

It got up to 67 degrees yesterday afternoon so SGF and I had the first frozen margaritas of the season (but forgot to take pics - sorry).

Recently in a familiar Irish Pub, ordered Jameson on rocks for decent $9. Week later, same pub, repeated the order. This time a "measured" single shot; price $20! Both barmaid and manager actually took offense my even questioning it.Needless to say I'll not return to this, what will remain nameless, pub. Soon after stopped in McCabe's Irish Pub, Bradenton, FL. Ordered my Jameson's and laid down $8 for a "pour", not a measured shot. The good-natured barmaid quickly dressed me down with, "what did you expect in that overpriced, fake Irish Pub in St Armand's Circle!" Guess I had that one coming.
Last evening had the same even cheaper, since there's no charge at my back porch bar.
