Color Wheel
If you look at a color wheel you'll see that the complimentary color to blue is orange.
But any color that has a tinge of orange in it like a dark rust to a light pumpkin color to an autum leaf brown will go well with blue. Basically anything earthy. It also boils down to what your prsonal preference is and what will go with your style. But, that's just my two cents.

I would usually wear a brown or darker navy. Even a darker red would go, I think.

I usually combine reds and blues. I have several ties with both colors in them. They're quite striking.
