The Well Dressed Head

Very cool! Hope you post the wide width you ordered, the widest I’ve gone with from Thomas Farthing is their medium width.
Me being me. I order a medium on special and wide at full price.

They actually have a website that understands AUD and links in with other companies so no need to re-enter delivery address, etc. Postage not cheap but generally the UK deliveries beat the living daylights out of USA ones for speed. In fact at times they put Australia deliveries to shame.

I have looked at the others. What is your favourite for quality?

Hmmm…that would be a toss up between a nice mid-width linen and narrow-width hopsack. Both are really nice. I guess I’d lean towards the linen but only slightly…and I’d probably change my mind the other way in a couple weeks!

Caps arrived. Here is the widest one in tweed.

Lookin’ Sharp!
Hi Art

Thanks for the compliment and heads up.

Very happy with the Thomas Farthing fit and style plus great to get a wider cap which tens IMHO suit my head like a taller crown and wider brim on a hat.

When the bank balance recovers I will be back for more.
I’m just a guy on the lounge, so take my opinion or don’t.
BUT, I believe that the larger crown caps look much better on you.
Hi Rick

Thanks for that observation and I fully agree. For years I avoided caps as never really felt part of who I am largely due to them looking bit odd on me being too small.

I have a friend that rocks flat caps but not so much for me.

Thanks to this thread I now have a source of caps to get a generous style.

I will still wear the others as waste not want not but I will be gradually getting this brand.

Great cap and jacket combo, like a 1930s race pilot!
Hi Art Hat1

Thanks for the compliment.

The cap is the wide one from Thomas Farthing and loving the style and as another member posted the wide style suits me.

The jacket is from Avil Leather and made to measure. Been the USN fliers in WW2.

Cheers
