While out running errands again today I wore my other new Mucros Weavers cap, a "Col 150" dark green Herringbone Trinity cap with dark purple and violet lines:

One of these days I might order one of Mucros Weavers' Kerry caps just to see how much of a difference there is between those and their Trinity caps, but for now I'm really enjoying these.

Surprisingly, I do too. Green and purple would normally be a color combination I'd reserve for the Incredible Hulk, but the good folks at Mucros found a way to make it work.

Out this evening in a Filson Mackinaw cap.

Hat/cap everyday adventures find me in a Filson Mackinaw cap walking our property with my dog.

The Filson wool cap is glorious on these windy, biting cold winter evenings. I pulled down the ear flaps on the way back to the house. It is not as classy/dressy as a fedora, as country/civilized as a cap, but the cap has an important place on the pantheon of headgear.

Yesterday afternoons chores of chopping the ice formed at the foot of our driveway and the ice build up by the boathouse found me wearing a Filson Mackinaw cap.

Jay; I agree. Your WDH cap is dynamite and appears to be no worse for the travel to Philly. I love hats, but caps are much easy travel companions for my recent connecting or long flights. Enjoy your trip and safe travels.
