Been a while since I posted. I'm casual compared to a lot of others here, but when I "dress up," often all it takes is to wear a hat or nice jacket.

Stetson Open Road:

New desert boots from Land's End Canvas came in the other day, too. Much nicer than the beat-up Dockers and Bostonian oxford shoes I've been wearing for over a year.

This Fall, I may even get chelsea boots. I'm thinking of, for a relatively inexpensive yet still decent pair, the Bexley Flager model:

I have in mind the black pair, and they've got leather soles. I'd wear those with either a suit, khakis, or even jeans, while the desert boots will be my standard casual boots.
