Ha ha! We were talking about Sharlene's early 1940s dress. I was looking at those colored stripes, which are actually thick strands of yarn tacked down to the dress. We vintage clothing geeks love these kinds of details ...

It could be the very narrow button stance which can look a bit strange on DB suits. Still looks good on you though.

Royal Stetson that I re-bashed, Gap workshirt, Key Imperial bandana, burgundy button-on braces, Cheap Monday selvedge cowboy cinchback jeans and work boots... sorry about the ****py photos, they were taken on the camera of a pal who just popped by - seems I need to clean the bathroom cabinet mirror, too! Better get on to that, otherwise my beautiful wife will be teed-off!

Looks great. Also looks like there would be a nice playlist. I think I would enjoy that party. At home I mainly listen to swing but don't say no to country, northern soul, garage, ska, punk ...bands I grew up with and still love.

One of those irritating days where the temperature calls for wool but the humidity calls for linen. I decided to compromise with a half-lined jacket and light weight wool trousers. Only the tie and jacket are vintage.
