^ Good to hear. The downtown was really quiet when I got to know Oklahoma City back in 1988-1989.

Has the Skirvin Hotel re-opened? That's where I stayed. Quite the historic building, it would appeal to Loungers. I remember hearing that it was under new ownership and was being refurbished.

My favorite mid-day eatery was the Colcord Oyster Bar, also in a historic building. I hope this bar is still in operation!

Riley, thanks for the OkC update. Glad that both hotels are still going strong. I stayed at the Skirvin for three months on a business assignment in the winter of 1988-89, shortly before it shut down, so I am very pleased that it is back. It looks better than ever.

The photographs gave me confidence to purchase my first pair of dress ankle boots, and I'm very pleased with them. I wouldn't make it an everyday thing because I like showing off sock too much, but these are very neat!
