I was about to dig in to some serious cooking and wasn’t in the mood for WFUV’s fairly short playlist. Pulled up amazon music on the laptop (which feeds via usb into a very decent DAC), looking to press play on my usual ‘Jack Johnson radio’ station When I saw this. How could I resist? So it’s a John Prine marathon while I cook. It’s a 30 or so song playlist, I’ll either repeat it or see if there’s another one after it’s done. Glad I found it. Y’all take care.

I listen to a radio station, WWOZ, out of NOLA. They've been featuring complete Jazz Fest shows from Ellis Marsalis from various years as a tribute since his passing several days ago. Good to hear a master at work.
