Vintage Lipsticks, etc.?

Does anyone know of shades of lipstick, rouge, etc. (besides Revlon) that are still being made? More specifically, I'm wondering about classic brands, such as Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, etc.

There are some topics on actual vintage brands as well as vintage-inspired reproduction brands...Revlon seems to be the most readily available vintage line.

Coty, Max Factor (being phased out in the US) are two existing vintage lines as well. I'm sticking mainly to makeup and what I use...

Most or maybe all of the old shades are gone, except maybe Revlon and Tabu. Most of the old brands are gone too.

Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden seem to have discontinued all of their old shades and replaced them with new ones. I looked at EA's website and they do have a 100th anniversary red, but it is a new shade.

You can still get the Tangee color change lipstick and rouge at Vermont Country Store. They discontinued their red shades of Tangee. However, they also carry 4 shades of Tabu 1950's lipsticks.

Bourjois still makes blush that is very similar to it's original formula. One early shade was Ashes of Roses, they still have a shade called cendre de rose brune, but I am not sure if it is the same (probably not). They aren't stocked in the USA any more though.

Vintage rouge was very, very red (or pink or orange), and I haven't seen a lot of shades that are that vivid lately. I have a discontinued red creme from MAC and a old powder version of Revlon Red. Besame makes some of these kinds of shades, but they recently discontinued a lot of shades.

I wonder if there is a niche market for the old shades at all.

That is so true...I have an art deco compact purse with the makeup still in it, and when I put a little rouge on my hand to see what it looked like, I could not believe how strong the pigment was...and it was verrrrry red......yowza's!

I dared to dream EA still made Montezuma Red, the colour designed to match servicewomen's WWII uniforms. Seems I have no luck.
