Vanson Enfield sizing

Hi All, I am interested in ordering a Vanson Enfield jacket in brandy roma. Im 5’9, 185lbs with just over a 41 chest. Vanson sizing chart indicates 42 would be appropriate but I hear the jacket runs large. Duds by Del has a video where he notes he is 5’9, 175lbs with 40 chest and he went with size 38 for this jacket.

Just curious regarding experiences with sizing for this model, especially for folks around my size.

I'm same height and weight as yourself, my 44 Enfield fits perfectly with a lightweight sweater, best graining on any Enfield I've seen

I am 6“ with a 42“ chest and have a size 42 Enfield which is a perfect fit.

It doesn’t run small as the model E, but I don’t find it as roomy as the C2 or even B.

I’m about 5’-10” with an 42 chest and was about 195 pounds when I tried on a 42 (black comp weight) and 44 (brandy roma) Enfield. I thought the 42 fit me better. Are you planning to order directly from Vanson? If so, call them and talk to Anthony. I believe they will send you both sizes to try on and then you can send back the one that doesn’t fit. I ordered mine through my local motorcycle shop so I did it a little bit differently, but Anthony can definitely help you out.

I’m 5’10 180. 41 inch chest. Wear a 40. I tried on the 42 as well. It was ok but the sleeves felt long and the shoulder fit better in the 40.

Ditto re sleeves. I’m 5’11 size 40 chest. I have a 42 Enfield in HH for layering and the sleeves are to my thumb knuckles when unzipped.

I am 178 cm tall, 78 kg bodyweight, 39“ chest and the Enfield fits me well in a size 38. If you are in between sizes, pick the smaller one. 40 should be fine.
