Well, this dude has another title under his belt. A local store was having an ugly contest this weekend (you can always find someone having one around Fathers Day). It got me twenty-five bucks!

He is dear and true to my heart, though....

It seems there was some odd trend back in about the late forties to late fifties in tie design that featured abstract renditions of various protozoans. I have seen countless ties from the general era with designs that are reminiscent of something one would see under a microscope in a sample of pond water. Or maybe this was just The Atomic era version of a "paisley"? [huh]
