I wore this strand of trade beads today. Unlike the beads posted above, this necklace is light enough to be comfortable to wear. The majority of the beads are 19th century Venetian, collected along the Columbia river in the mid 20th century.

Peeking out from under my coat is a strand of ancient stone and shell beads from the Chumash tribe who lived in the Channel Islands area of California.

The wife and I exchanged a little silver this Christmas. She received a Dennis Ramone ring with spiny oyster.

I was gifted a Jimmy Begay silver slide on a ***le Green beaded hat band.

A newly acquired narrow (20mm) mid 20th century Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild cuff and a bolo that I don't wear much but wore today. I bought thinking the cabochons were Bisbee turquoise, but I'm not so sure now.

Yep, I do the same, combining a leather cuff with metal cuffs (copper or silver with turquoise).
