The Antelope Lodge is a rustic 1950's motor court hotel with an elevation of 4,475 ft. Construction of the iconic motel began in 1949 at the hands of skilled stone masons and local craftsmen. Built in the style of a classic motor court, it featured white stucco cottages with authentic Mexican red clay tile roofs, stone porches, kitchenettes, and a central courtyard. The name Antelope Lodge still appears on the front porch floor where the stone masons originally inscribed it with local rocks.

Biltmore Court in Amarillo. Not sure on the year but given the condition of the buildings and the appearance of the photo, I would guess 1970's, maybe early '80s.

Alberts Cabins in Memphis from a 1952 postcard.

And recently...

I pass by Alberts Cabins when I go to Buckaroo Hatters. I have often wondered about its history.
The name Albert comes from Albert Ricci Sr, who passed away around 1970 and his son Albert Jr took over and he passed away in 2015.
