Thoughts on Shangri-La leather jackets?

Tried on the Shangri-La Grizzly at Son of a Stag in Spitalfields yesterday, and have to say, it's a nicely-executed, well-fitting jacket. The leather is good quality, and the shearling was soft and lush.

What I liked even better was the fit, which for me, is hard to achieve. I'm 6'4", 205#, and anything that fits in the sleeve is like a box in the body, or if it fits in the body, still has a 24" sleeve.

This jacket fit 100% all the way around. I have a Himel Wolverine in Sz 46 that I don't wear quite enough because the sleeves are 25.5" or so, and the body is slightly boxier, even with the waist tabs pulled in.

Would have pulled the trigger and sold the Himel were it not £1850.
I just can't justify another $2500 leather jacket right at this moment.

I think build quality, leather quality, and overall materials are better on the Himel (it's Shinki) than the Shangri-La too, so while the fit is great and there aren't many of these around, it's hard to to really make the case for such a high price.

If it were £1200-£1500, maybe I would have been more tempted.

Man, I love the style of their Cafe Racer jacket but wish they had it come standard in horsehide instead of lambskin. Not a fan of lambskin's look.

Hoping to place a custom order fairly soon.
