I just watched this amazing film.

This was the directorial debut of Nicholas Ray who later went on to direct "Rebel Without a Cause."

From the great looking suits and hats to the helicopter shots of the getaway car speeding along the countryside, this film is a winner.

I've also seen the remake of this one titled "Theives Like Us" also a fantastic film.

I highly recommend both.

I just watched "They Live By Night" last week! It was a very good flick. Its part of Film Noir box set I picked up a while back.
