You rightly so are so proud of the lad and I know exactly how you feel being a dad of a son and daughter myself. My daughter has a a conventional job with a lot of responsibility and is well paid due to her dogged ambition to better herself. My son on the other hand has a job/lifestyle that few get to realise and earns unbelievable amounts of money. Rather than me explain Google James Zabiela and you’ll see what I mean.

1926(?) Gruen when engraved cases were in fashion. I’ve spent far more than this watch’s worth having it brought back to life by the watchmaker I use.

Yeah…it was a decent score..it was hanging on the cheap rack for I think $4.99….meanwhile they got Junk watches behind glass. A few good ones slip by them once in awhile.

I also prefer mechanical watches with no batteries. Most of my watch collection is made up of vintage inspired modern watches, but I have my dad’s 1950’s Omega Seamaster and a 1980 Rolex GMT. Wearing this 1940’s (inspired) Oris Big Crown Pointer Date today.

Awesome! The Speedy is still probably my favorite watch of all time. I got one on my birthday in the year 2000 and it has been ******proof over the years. Such an incredible watch. The FOIS is a beauty!
