For $167.48.
I'm still not even sure it is 1930s. The length and style could be easily later 1940s, when knit suits became again extremely popular. Either way, that's a pretty ridiculous price. It must have been two persons' dream dress to go up that high.
Obviously I don't live in SF. It's still ridiculous, to me, in comparison to other ebay prices. If such things routinely go for $350 there, I'm left wondering how I can buy anything.Vintage Betty said:Sorry, I disagree. That would easily sell up to $350 here in the San Francisco Bay Area, if in perfect condition. Thoughts, Miss 1929?

Lauren said:I guess, to me at least, the prices on ebay are getting quite ridiculous because you can't see the item firsthand. In a store I might pay $160 because I could try it on and examine condition in person but on ebay? With not very good pictures? Kind of silly, but that's just my opinion.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Vintage Betty said:Thanks for letting me rant.![]()
What I don't understand is...not asking questions? I've seen some fuzzy-pictured items go for hundreds of dollars and nary a question is asked. What's up with that?
GEEE!! that green dress was just beautiful!!!Sunny said:1930s knit suits.
The green one, long sleeve, for $92.07. Barely outbid.
