The Man Who Wasn't There.

Packin' Heat

One of the Regulars
My favorite of their films is A Serious Man, with this one being my second favorite. I've found the films of theirs I prefer are different than most persons'. I'm still surprised that anyone could not at least enjoy TMWWT, if not find it outright marvelous. The cinematography alone is incredible.

And story is noir from start to finish. First-person narration, fear, greed, adultery, blackmail, murder and plot developments and a lawyer that pay homage to The Postman Always Rings Twice. So full of fatalism and despair.
